Heart to Heart is having a Humor & Health Event on Saturday, September 20, 2014 10:00 am to 2:00 pm in the Fellowship Center. We will have fun and laughter with noted author and speaker, Patricia Lorenz. She is one of the top contributors to the Chicken Soup for the Soul Books and for the Daily Guideposts. There will be informative talk from our Parish Nurse, Pam Healey and Certified Fitness Trainer, Fran Scerbo. Tickets will be $8 and available from any Heart to Heart member or at the church office. UNITED METHODIST WOMEN
The United Methodist Women will have our Welcome Back Salad Luncheon in Howard Hall at noon on Thursday, September 11.
We will be making up our ditty bags for charity after lunch. Come and join us for a delicious meal and to help with our
worthwhile cause. Please bring a dish to share. We all look forward to seeing you there.

Legacy Ministry - November 2nd
In our quest of protecting your final wishes, our Legacy Ministry Steering Committee will be presenting a series of programs beginning this fall
with Sunday, Nov. 2nd. Immediately following the 10 a.m. service, we will share a lunch in Fellowship Hall, followed by an educational program on planning final arrangements. Informational presentations will be made by the National Cremation Society, one of the leading Funeral Homes, and a representative from our own Memorial Garden Committee.

The Food Pantry wants to thank you for your continued support for this growing ministry. Many
of you may not know that the process of feeding our community is a three day, per week process. Even
though we give food out only once every two weeks, many of our volunteers come in every Tuesday,
Wednesday and Friday. They do this to make sure that the community of families and individuals are
